In the software there are options to delete scans to recycle or to delete them permanently.
After deletion to recycle scene objects can be brought back using Project manager, located under the project tree.
Project manager displays all objects associated with the project, including the ones that have been deleted to recycle. When choosing additional scans or when deleting existing ones to recycle the amount of memory needed or freed will be shown.
Project manager also allows to apply simplification to scans to save memory. In order to revert simplified objects back to normal, check the Reload without simplification option. In this case, scans will be loaded in their initial form (scan processing will be lost).
The Delete permanently function erases the objects from the hard drive without the option to restore.

It is possible to use the command multiple times - in this case, the scans will be deleted sequentially starting from the last one. The combination works for scans containing geometry. If the scan contains only markers (0 triangles), it will not be deleted.

Both functions can be found in the menu by right-clicking scans in the project tree. Also, by clicking Initial geometry in the same menu, scans can be loaded from the hard drive in their raw form with no processing applied.
Initial position function brings scans back to their initial position after scanning.
