Union models can contain the texture in a separate file or in form of colored vertices.

Display of texture can be toggled on the View tab.

Use OBJ and PLY formats to export models with texture. For models with separate texture, texture containing files will be saved along with .obj or .ply files. Do not alter or delete these files.
