Distance is defined by the "Cross" illumination mode.

You can launch scanning by pressing the button Start scanning in the Scanning menu. You can stop it by pressing the Stop button.
Starting and stopping scanning can also be done by pressing Enter (including on the number pad) or Space. A separate numeric keypad connected to a PC via Bluetooth can be used as a portable “start/stop” scanning remote control.
When the Add to the selected group option is enabled, incoming scans will be saved into the desired group in the project tree. After turning it On, select a scan group in the list. In projects with turntable the pre-selected in the Turntable menu number of scans will be created.
