To ensure the quality of the model, the scanner clips it by the scanning area (the yellow region on the figure to the right). Scan area is limited by close and far plane in the Z-axis (depth) when scanning without turntable and by the diameter and height of the clipping cylinder when scanning with turntable. Scanning area is set in the Clipping menu. When the menu is opened, planes or cylinder appear on the 3D scene.

When scanning with a turntable, there is a Recalculate option available, which allows you to re-clip previously created scans using current clipping cylinder.

Save clipping parameters - the option saves the clipping parameters of the project. If the option is disabled, the parameters will return to the default value at the next boot.

Default - when pressed, the default values of clipping planes or cylinder are set.
