United model can be trimmed with planes and the resulting hole can be closed. To do this, select a united model in the tree and select the Trimming and alignment function in Processing menu.
A plane will appears in the workspace, which can be defined by three points using Alt + LMB, defined by line using Ctrl + LMB and moved using Shift + MB. Place this plane into desired position and then click Trim button in the dialog box.
The model will be intersected by the plane into two parts, the selected fragment will be the part to be removed. If necessary, Invert the selection and Remove the selection. Use the fill hole with plane option if you want to fill the border of the fragments with a plane (the border must be closed at the same time).
It is possible to repeat the command multiple times over the selected operand without exiting the widget. To continue, you need to click the Repeat trimming or Align the model buttons.
You can also specify which system plane to align the intersection plane with.
